Building Brighter Futures: Raymond Schools Foundation Grants 2023-2024

At the Raymond Schools Foundation, we believe in creating opportunities that inspire learning, curiosity, and personal growth. Each year, we work to provide funding for impactful programs that enrich the educational experiences of students across all grade levels.

Here’s a look at some of the incredible initiatives we supported during the 2023-2024 school year:

Strengthening Education and School Resources

  • Funding for Raymond Elementary and Junior-Senior High Needy Student Funds, ensuring students have access to the essentials needed for success.

  • Support for Raymond Elementary Library, fostering a love of reading and lifelong learning.

  • Sponsorship of Raymond High School ASB, providing students with leadership and school community opportunities.

  • Investment in Woodworking Class materials and Statistical Math Class books, ensuring hands-on and academic learning resources.

Academic Enrichment and Skill Development

  • Sponsorship of Junior High and High School Knowledge Bowl, encouraging critical thinking and teamwork.

  • Support for the High School Math Team Competition, fostering problem-solving skills and academic excellence.

  • Funding for the Humanities Class Trip to Medieval Village Festival, bringing history to life for students.

Hands-On Learning and Unforgettable Field Trips

The Foundation continues to fund engaging field trips that expand student learning beyond the classroom:

  • Art-focused experiences at the Seattle Art Museum and Museum of Pop Culture.

  • Science and environmental learning at the Pacific Science Center, Natural Resource Class Tree Farm, and Safety Patrol Field Trip.

  • Cultural exploration and history through the Kindergarten Hands-On Children’s Museum visit and 2nd Grade trip to Point Defiance Zoo.

  • Outdoor education with a Field Trip to the Beach for Student Groups and 5th & 6th Grade Field Trip.

Encouraging Student Engagement and Extracurricular Activities

  • Sponsorship of Cheerleader Camp, ensuring students have opportunities for teamwork and leadership.

  • Continued investment in Junior High Woodshop needs, promoting practical and technical skill development.

By investing in these programs, the Raymond Schools Foundation ensures that students continue to receive well-rounded educational experiences.

We look forward to sharing even more exciting initiatives as we move into 2024-2025!
